ANDREW + HEIDI 

Andrew and Heidi met during their junior year at Merrimack College when they played for the Merrimack Ultimate Frisbee team.

 

Heidi went to study in France for a semester and when she came back to Merrimack for her senior year she found herself working in the writing center with Andrew on Sunday nights. The two became close friends at the writing center where they spent their quiet weekend shift talking with each other.

 

They started dating halfway through their senior year of college and quickly fell in love with each other. After college, Heidi moved back home to California and Andrew stayed in Rhode Island to work on his master’s degree in journalism. Heidi and Andrew spent two years in a long distance relationship. They skyped pretty much every night where they played Scrabble and watched movies with each other and just spent hours talking.

 

Andrew moved to California as soon as he graduated from Emerson College. Heidi and Andrew once more got to enjoy each other’s company in person. They continued playing Ultimate with each other and spent a lot of time at Disneyland. Heidi and Andrew love cooking together, and still enjoy playing games like Settlers of Catan, and Bananagrams. They got engaged in summer of 2014 when they went back east for summer vacation (the proposal involved a beach picnic and melty chocolates) and are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.
